NEW RESEARCH PROPOSAL

What is my current topic?

"Is the creativity learned in school or innate?"

Nowadays every universities said that they want creative talent. Following that, 21st century Korean high school education's goal seemed to grow creative talent. However, Ken Robinson, the specialist in education, says 'School Spoil the Students' creativeness'. Thus I have a question about creativity. The creativity could be learned in school like normal knowledge? If is not, why the goal of Korean high school is to grow creative talents?

What are my guiding questions

My first question is "What is the creativity?' I think I should define the creativeness to carry out my research.
Second question is "If the creativity is innate, does everyone have it?" Some around  me said they're lacking in creativeness. If creative is innate, then why my friends insist they're wanting in creativeness?

What are my current thoughts?

I think creativity is learned in school. The saying creativity is innate comes to my mind as a gap of creativity among people which can not be reduced. Thus, I think creativity is the thing learned in school, which everyone could have. I want to persuade people that creativeness can be learned in school by the 'great' education.

What is the opposition?
The opposition  must be a insist that creativity is innate. They will also argue that no school education could provide creative classes.

CHANGE MY TOPIC!! OMG

I was on the research, but there's no studies or even journals I could use for my topic. Also, my previous topic is not connected with "Harvard Sampler." Thus, I think change the topic is the best potion I could choose. During weekend, I watched the "TED" addressed by Ken Robinson. He said school spoils students' creativeness. However, 21st century goal of Korean education is to grow creative talent. I had a question whether the creativeness could be learned in school?
Thus My new topic is "Could the education grow students' creativeness?"

RESEARCH PROPOSAL

What is my current topic?

"Why students need friends in school?"

We often think friends as indispensable components of our school-life. What is the school? Literally, school is where we study. Then do we need friends for our studying? Probably not. Chatting, hanging out with friends might negatively affect student's studying the most. Thus I'm wonder why we need friends in school where we study.

What are my guiding questions?

First, 'What is the real definition of the school for students?' I think If school is just where students study, students don't need to have a friend. Thus I'm curious about what is the meaning of school to students?

Next, 'What is the meaning of having friends?' Before founding the reason of having friends, I think that I should know the value, the role of friends like a book.

What are my current thoughts?

I think school is where people start their social life and having a friend is the first step of their social life. Thus they need friends to have at least normal socail life. Also, eventhough some might think they don't need any friends they have those in reality, because that's what others do.

What is the opposition?

I coulnd't think about opposition now, because everyone take granted for having friends in school

RESEARCH QUESTIONS

1.Why students sleep during the class rather than doing something?
2.How teachers can motivate students to study?
3.Could the education grow students' creativeness?
4.Why students study even though they don't know the purpose of studying?
5.Is it right to punish students?
